Christians in Action (C.I.A.) Ministry
Serving Our Neighbors. Sharing God’s Love. Giving Back Together.
The Christians in Action (C.I.A.) ministry began more than 25 years ago as a compassionate response to the urgent needs that arose in the aftermath of devastating hurricanes. What started as a group of church members gathering essentials to assist displaced families has grown into a vital, long-standing ministry of First Christian Church.
As the work expanded, so did the need for a permanent home—leading to the establishment of the Clyde Roberson Mission Building, now located on our church property. Over the years, the ministry has evolved, but its heart remains the same: responding to need with love, generosity, and faith in action.
Today, C.I.A. operates a part time resale shop, run entirely by volunteers, offering gently used clothing, home goods, and more. All items are donated by members of the church and the broader community.
Every dollar raised goes right back into the community, supporting a variety of local nonprofits, outreach initiatives, and ministries—extending the reach of our mission and reflecting our call to be a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.
We are always grateful for your donations, your time, and your support as a shopper. When you participate in C.I.A., you’re helping to create lasting impact—for good.
